So the cat is well and truly out of the bag now on this years Secret 7… So many amazing sleeves at the exhibition this year. We loved working on our handmade individual sleeves this year and we’re especially please it was in aid of the Warchild charity. This time round was super fun with buyers being able to connect with the creators of their sleeves purchases. Back at Zip HQ, Nick made a sleeve based on a classic varsity jacket complete with leatherette fabric, flurry type and complete with a small ‘team’ badge. Mary went to town by making some ‘Strange Creatures’ and even included one with her sleeve. Whilst Neil used the ash and charcoal remains from a well known heavy metal photo shoot and set about work it into his sleeves, including a small vial containing more of the ash from Sabbath 13 album cover shoot. Well done to all involved and all the peeps who spent their dosh on this worthy cause.
