We’re very happy to announce our MK Skate, a history of skateboarding in Milton Keynes book has been shortlist in two categories for the Creativepool Awards, Graphic and Publishing.

Quite a while in the mix finally this special release of archival recordings from Al Green recorded for Hi Records accompanied by new orchestral arrangements  was released on Recordstore Day the 12th June.

Zip were kindly invited back for the seventh and final edition of Secret 7”. The exhibition took place at the NOW Gallery, the sleeves were auctioned afterwards and proceeds going to Help Refugees.

To be asked by Rhino Records to be part of designing an album to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the legendary soul singer Aretha Franklin's historic signing was an opportunity we grabbed with both hands.

The high street footwear brand Schuh approached us to design and produce the window installation for their Edinburgh (Frederick Street) branch to celebrate the Fringe Festival which is one of the largest arts festivals in the world.

Dipping into the Zip Archives again for another #tbt, we're found this great project for Harvey Nichols. A few years back we were commissioned by the Knightsbridge store to create a set of windows.

This year is the 30th anniversary of Jim Phillips iconic Screaming hand illustration. Phillips first created the hand design for Santa Cruz skateboards back in 1985 and it has remained one of skateboardings most iconic graphics.

Zip has once again taken part in this years Secret 7’s exhibition that was held at Somerset House in London. With over 700 amazing sleeves by artists and designers including Paul Smith, Sir Peter Blake, Yoko Ono, and Julian Opie, we were very please to be a part of this great charity event.
